Per usare questo trucco devi avere prima una squadra intera prima di scontrarti contro il Professore.

Ottenere bulbasaur: pianta un seme, annaffia. Aspetta primavera.

Dopo averlo sconfitto potrai scegliere il tuo iniziatore, e il Professore ti chiedera' di inviare un Pokemon nella tua cassa per fare spazio al tuo iniziatore. Digli No o premi B, e si blocchera' sul tuo iniziatore scelto finche' non vorrai recuperarlo. Poi continuera' la disscussione normale. Una volta che ottieni il controllo del personaggio salva e chiedi al Professore il tuo iniziatore. Potrai quindi selezionare un Pokemon e inviarlo alla cassa e ti dara' uno da scegliere. Se non ti piace la natura del Pokemon, resetta in maniera soft il gioco premendo L + R + Start + Select. Poi seleziona il tuo gioco salvato e scorri attraverso le linee di testo per essere in grado di scegliere la natura del tuo iniziatore. Ripeti questo trucco finche' non ottieni un Charmander Adamantio o la natura desiderata per il tuo Pokemon iniziale. Nota: Non puoi usare un iniziatore diverso dopo aver usato questo trucco, il professore manterra' sempre e solo quello scelto all'inizio.

Ottenere Sylveon
Prima devi insegnare ad Eevee un mossa di tipo fata, ma non basta. Devi anche renderlo molto felice. Per farlo evolvere in Sylveon devi riempire le barre di Amie: Affezione, Pienezza e Divertimento al massimo. Il divertimento si riempie giocando alcuni minigiochi, che ti daranno inoltre abbastanza Snack da riempire anche la barra di Pienezza. Una volta riempite le tre barre, insegnate ad Eevee una mossa fata ed ecco che evolvera' in Sylveon.
